Unfortunately, My daughter banks with Hometown Bank in Leominster, MA. She was told to pay cash for her bank checks. She never received the checks or the money. And, when she called about not receiving her checks, the lady hung up on her! ): This is just HORRIBLE! She is depressed and inconsolable. She's already dealing with so many medical issues to now have this happen to her! To now mess with her physical and mental state!!! Depression is NOT a good thing to have!!!!!

I’ve paid over $500 in overdraft fees this year just due to wonky charges going through at random times. Even a week after a purchase or transfer. All sorts of messes with no customer support to fix them. I get locked out of my accounts about biweekly. Typically that lines up with a good long holiday weekend. Seems small and personal but it really just turns out to be a terrible banking experience. Changing everything asap.

This is the best bank in leominster. No hidden fees means exactly that to them! Donna opened my account and was absolutely amazing, she answered any questions I had and took her time to do so. She was very quick opening the account she was also very professional. The rest of the staff I have encountered have also been very professional and always welcoming! If you're looking to open a bank account, open up another bank account, or switch to a different bank Hometown Bank would definitely be the one to go to!

Know what's nice about a bank? Having the option to visit a branch or never having to visit a branch. I enjoy all the online banking options such as using the phone app to deposit funds or check balances. Most recently the app was updated and it's even easier than before to deposit a check. Woot, woot for the customer! I can do all my banking virtually while having a bank that I can trust. I work directly with Donna the Manager at the Leominster branch and she is always accommodating and knows her stuff. When I have visited the branch all the branch team members are very friendly. Why not bank Hometown, everything you need in a bank.

I really don't understand some of these negative comments I'm reading about this bank. I have worked in Banking/Accounting for more than 20 yrs. The first rule ever taught to us was that you never make change for someone who doesn't have an account with the institution. The reason for this is simply for fraud purposes. Anyone now a days can come in with a counterfeit bill, get the change they want and walk out the door never to be seen again. And what happens is that the bank is out of that money.
This has been my bank for 4 yrs since they opened their doors in Leominster. Not once have I ever walked in there feeling like just another account or that they just don't care. These girls go out of their way to make you feel welcome and always with a smile!
HOMETOWN BANK WILL ALWAYS BE MY BANK!!!

If I could this bank ten stars, I would have! As a small business owner, I’ve used several of the large banks and there’s no comparison! Hometown Bank actually cares about their customers! The assistant manager Cindi is outstanding & truly is the gold standard for customer service! I highly recommend this bank!

My favorite bank ever. Donna and her team are top notch and really treat everyone with respect. I am always welcome when I go there and still show me love me no matter how many times I left my debit card in the atm machine. Thanks girls
