We had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Shane for a portion of the escrow process on our first home. Although he was very quick to give us what seemed to be hard to believe terms on our loan upfront, as the days passed we seemed to be more and more skeptical about how he conducted certain situations. We also began to find out how he never seemed to be able to answer our calls or give us a call back but instead only used messaging for nearly all communication. In the end, after simply asking him to update the agreement to align with what we had verbally agreed upon regarding lender fees, he decided to tell us to go find a new lender and that he was no longer going to continue the loan forcing us to find a new lender to continue our closing within about 1-2 weeks.. this was with no explanation and through text. I would recommend to cross your t’s and dot your i’s with this firm so they don’t leave you high and dry during such an important process.
