This is a very nice store with a wide variety of high quality products. I was particularly impressed with the variety of running shoes that they had. I purchased a pair of Topo shoes (a brand I was not familiar with until I found them at this store). The shoes are awesome -- the best running shoes I've ever had. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even invited me to purchase a couple of pairs so I could try them at home to make sure I got the right size. The return process was super easy.

The clothing options were extensive and high quality. I purchased a ExOfficio sweater, with the bug repellent fabric --a must have for summer in Maine, for my wife. She loves it!

Overall, this is a very nice store, with a lot of nice products and great staff! I highly recommend.

They say customer service is dead and when it comes to Cadillac Sports, they are right!
Went in today to pick up a much needed pair of new hiking boots. Walked in with 3-4 “sales people” standing around the front desk. I asked where the shoes were and was directed to the back left corner. Looked at a decent selection of shoes for 15 minutes wondering which over priced ones to buy and no one made it over or interacted with me at all. I was the ONLY person in the entire store and they knew I was the interested in shoes, which needed to be retrieved out back. Evidently they were too busy conversing at the front desk to be bothered to help the only customer in the store. On the way out, one piped up with “all set” to which I replied “yes, looks like all of you are too busy”
Not sure how they make any money with staff like this! Good luck if you go in. You’re on your own!!

My husband I and I went in recently looking for cross country skis and feeling pretty unsure where to begin. Nick was INCREDIBLY helpful and patient - really took the time to walk us through the options for skis, boots and poles. I would've given 5 stars simply for the experience we had in the store and the quality of customer service, but having used the skis a number of times now, we're also really thrilled with the skis we chose! They're just right for our purposes. Thank you! We'll be back.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Was able to purchase replacement hiking shoes and appropriate socks for healing a previously sprained ankle. Patient and kind. Also found great polarized sunglasses at a reasonable price, though they carry a number of high-end and designer models. Great Bar Harbor store.
