I had a medical emergency last year while I was out of town. I received a bill from emergency services where they had a link to a portal where I can enter my insurance information- so I did. I then got a bill from Cal Coast Credit Services saying I never paid. I let them know what happened and I had to toggle back and forth from insurance, to emergency services to them. I spoke with Legal Manager, Ron Jones, on April 27,2023 where he was more than willing to help and that although it wasn’t regular practice for them to file a claim with the insurance, he would take care of it and that if I didn’t hear from him is because it was solved. I have an email string where he even asked me for my insurance information. Five months later, I get a call from one of their reps asking for payment. I was surprised and told her what had happened. I get a very aggressive call from Ron Jones denying we had a conversation and that I still owed the money. He was incredibly rude and loud.The representative let me know he never documented our call in April or noted any conversations we had. This is extremely unprofessional and an enormous lack of empathy. I sincerely hope that any agencies doing business with them reconsider due to their lack of professionalism and follow through.

I am so thankful to have called and been to connected to Ron Jones! I had an old medical bill dragging down my otherwise great credit and needed to take care of it ASAP. Mr. Jones kindly and without judgement explained the situation to me with clear steps on how to pay and repair. I started the conversation super nervous and ended feeling settled. With Mr. Jones' expert guidance, (you can tell that he is a skilled professional who has been doing this for a long time) mission accomplished!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. RON is an awful employee or “General Manager” as he claims to be. He is a coward who won’t even answer the phone. He’s extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He hung up on me multiple times and I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. I’ve never heard of this company and do not live nor have I ever lived in the state of California. I called trying to be responsible and find out why or how they could be affecting my credit and instead ended up on the phone with a completely incompetent person named Ron who made it impossible for me to understand and or fix the situation. Each time before he would hang up on me he would say “Have a great day” Ron I hope you learn how to respect customers and figure out how to be a professional cause right now you are very far from it. Have a great day lol

Ron Jones is extremely unprofessional and rude. When someone calls to try to work out a payment he yells, hangs up phone and berates the caller.

He talks down to you and is a horrible human being. Business’s should not hire his agency to collect.

This company is beyond unprofessional. This is a company ran by a husband and wife. They have a couple employees that turn over regularly. They do not keep proper records. When working with a client of mine to resolve an issue they had with Cal Coast Credit Service it took 4 months to get an incomplete answer from Matt Berto (owner). I definitely would never recommend this company. They are terrible to deal with, do not keep records, are unresponsive, and do not work with an ounce of integrity. The owner is rude and unresponsive, just like his employees. STAY AWAY!

A man called regarding a bill that had gone to collections that I never even knew existed and he screamed at me on the phone. Wildly unprofessional. This company is also refusing to send me information on the bill.

This place I really unprofessional, I tried to call to resolve a pending issue. The person that was assisting me sounded like a immature fat slob in capable of resolving anything and spend the majority of the time arguing with me on the phone instead of working a payment arrangement.
