I had a very disappointing experience at the Capital One Bank located at 6949 Commerce St in Springfield, VA. I was completely ignored and made to wait over 30 minutes while several employees just sat around chatting and doing nothing. No one greeted me, acknowledged I was waiting, or offered any help.
To make matters worse, the staff looked unprofessional and poorly dressed, which made the entire branch feel disorganized and careless. It was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at any bank.
Capital One really needs to step up the service at this location. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated—and I’m seriously reconsidering doing business with Capital One.

I had a really pleasant experience here! The front clerk BRETT was very nice and helpful. I was already having a stressful time and he was very kind. He gave me all the information I needed and didn’t waste time. My first time coming here and I really did like the experience.

Sometimes reading reviews can get you discouraged. I suggest you visit and gain personal experience. I visited the branch today; all the staffs who attended to me were so polite, friendly, patient, and fast. If I get to go to the branch, I will surely visit them repeatedly.

Today, I visited this branch for the first time and was helped by Jonathan. He was friendly, patient, and very professional throughout the entire process. Jonathan took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel truly welcome. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely helpful and attentive. The customer service should be re-trained in my opinion. I came to the bank to make a deposit, i wanted to do with a person for a different reason. I waited in line due to 2 people ahead of me. Then, it was my turn and i was called by the person whose name is Carlos. He was helping drive through and in-store simultaneously. After i gave him my ID and told him what i wanted, he pulled my info and then went to the phone from drive through and after a few minutes, he then told me that he needed to do something (did not hear what exactly clearly), and said that another teller would help me later. I then went back to the line and waiting for a teller to available to help. Those who were behind me were assisting by tellers and i ended up waiting again. I should have said no you should finish helping me before switching to something else.

Basically he had issue with drive through and needed to take care that. Again, it can wait since he is in the process of assisting me. He could ask the other customer to wait, not making me go back to the line and wait.

I personally think he should have helped me since he was helping me already and then he could come back to assist the drive through customer. Not telling me to go back to the line queueing again. He needed to know the prioritization and ways to deal with situations like this. He should have asked me if that was ok for me to wait not him making decision himself. So unprofessional.

I had the pleasure of working with Whitley , her customer service was incredible. From the moment I walked in the branch Whitley made sure all my inquiries were attended too in a professional and timely manner. I was absolutely floored by her attentiveness and determination working with me. I also dealt with a teller who worked with the drive through but had time to squeeze me in for my first bank deposit. I cant remember his name but I do remember he was from New York and kept me laughing and smiling my whole experience. I hope the owner or manager see this and gets to feel proud of her employers. Keep up the great customer service, with everything opening back up , we need kindness and warm smiles in each establishment.

ATM down more than not . Has repeatedly stopped during a mid transaction with no receipt or return of my card. Has torn cks but also taken cash and not given me credit . I have to go into lobby wait and file a claim for my monies which might take up to 5 days . Stay away
