Seems i got different information each time I called. Finally got notified by my calling back waiting for them to call me back as stated they would, that my transportation was not approved 3:30pm the day before I needed it.
They say it was too late but I had started this process well before I needed it , therefore I know it was not too late.
It almost left me not visiting a very important Dr at Stanford Medical for a serious health issue, that I had an appt 3 months ahead of time.
Had I received the right information the 1st time I called?, it would have worked out.
Dealing with this issue I have spoke with some good informed workers now. I just hope with my appt I have in the future, it’ll all work out.

Have been enduring TORTUOUS medical conditions for over FOUR years now. I would like my human rights back please thanks. If you want to add to any suffering of people then go get another job, I don’t care if you make money off of the time you let get robbed from people, you are the problem. I’ve seen too many doctors prove that they are only interested in negligence and violating human rights while trying to seem moral on paper, and most times insurance can’t tell the doctor “do your job” but I see plenty of people signing off on me having nothing but illness as a life and turning their cheek like it’s not my death warrant it’s disgusting and beyond low. People are dying slowly being tortured by sickness because you won’t do your jobs, it’s a violation of health wellness and safety. It sickens me that you try to make the stress of having no control over your health even more distressing using the same psychological gaslighting that the doctors and others use. Do better be better or you’ll only be remembered as another resource that wants people to be unhealthy not healthy while pushing a false narrative of helping and supporting people to health no you stall until they die from the illnesses you refuse to help them get treatment for your only promise is you’ll stand there and make sure they get sicker with no resources except people whispering in your ear a million distractions while you’re having to explain your situation of life and death for a millionth time because they aren’t organized and they only want you to explain it so they can gaslight you and distract you from it not ever being fixed by those whose jobs and oaths bind them to. Thank you for robbing me of my life, I’m sure the other countless people that you’ve done that to as well would say the same. Thank you for the dehumanization thank you for the hopelessness for taking normal human rights away, I am so grateful for that and of course you deserve people to be polite for you while doing that. (Sarcasm) anyways I hope a health system that doesn’t want people to die quietly in agony exists soon. Thanks

Its been 6 months and in that time I got one appointment with my primary and it was with a PA-C (who was great). I can't complete my PT because the only in-house, approved Physical therapy places don't return calls and are probably fully booked. They seem to contract with service providers that are swamped - perhaps one way to keep costs low is to keep access to care low.

I generally work to cut folks a lot of slack during these challenging times but, Wow. Just. Wow. CenCal is not a company I would choose to give my business to if it was my choice. Don't know how else to say it. Their lack of even basic organization is abysmal. I've been waiting for 3 months for them to get their act together so I can get the life changing surgery I need. 3 months as my condition worsens and I love nerve function.
I'm curious if Santa Barbara and SLO Counties know who they are contracting with and how absolutely horrible they are. Dreadful.
