This bank’s debit card NEVER works out of US and only rarely work in the US. Before driving to Canada I went to the branch in Falmouth waited a long time ( usually understaffed) and informed that I will be using this card in Ottawa and got the approval. Clerk said “ you are all set”. Never worked anywhere there! Had to buy with US dollars never got change back. Worst issue was could not buy anything online after returning to US. Every legitimate purchase I tried (including Amazon) was blocked inadvertently claiming fraud or suspicious. Will close this account and open one that has a debit/credit card that works.

New to the Cape and I closed an account my spouse and I had. He passed away and I needed to close the account. I called in advance to ask about exchanging euros and I was told that they would do that for me. The teller spoke to me very rudely that I was not a customer and she would not exchange my euros. That was my first encounter with this bank and my last.
