I lost my valid identification, and didn’t have a debit card. I know my member number and whatever else they ask for, yet didn’t want to let me withdraw my OWN money. I understand procedure, I do, but I have bills to pay, and needed my money. Ask me my social security number, mothers maiden name, birthday, address, past deposits. Thank you Ripley! For saving me. Can’t thank you enough. Also, the teller was snooty, and I didn’t appreciate it. This is exactly why I won’t be using this Credit Union much longer. Have had an account there since it was Cal State credit union, and I just about got denied taking my own money out. Ripley saved me, she’s always so kind to me

I have been a member of this bank, formerly known as CSFECU#20, since @ 1980s. Recently, a massive conversion caused consternation and the team, especially a VP, were fantastic in leading the way to great success in managing and manipulating the new systems and organizations resulting in absolute ease of online services. I also love to bank in Arcata, although I dearly miss the peeps in the Eureka admin office on Wabash. Everyone, without fail, is courteous and charming and laughter is a staple of any visit. This organization, by any name, has been loyal and true to their members, and in my case, has helped me raise, educate and flourish as a parent with two children. Their accounts were established when they were very young, and they are still members in their 40s. Kudos to all the management and staff, and a big THANK YOU for being there. Best! janina

I’m trying the small bank thing but the services are so limited...the staff at the new Eureka office have been disappointing as well.

I’m giving them six more months and if I have one more problem, we are done...

OK, I did as you suggested and Rene let me down terribly. She was very professional and polite but I still didn't get my debit card replacement for almost three weeks. They couldn't find the first card, no tracking number whatsoever (the bank sent it to my Colorado address after I made it very clear where to send the card).

I had to call Rene to get any updates and to try to get my card and I'm here to tell you that her voicemail is totally unsatisfactory! She states she will get back to you within 24 hours and that just rubs me wrong, especially when I'm waiting for weeks on my ATM card.

I remain quite dissatisfied with this bank and will now use it for what I think it is most properly suited, as my Christmas savings account and nothing more.

However, I remain impressed that senior management cared enough to reach out to me, thank you very much!

If you want a bank that’s full of deficit and can’t keep their lies straight. Contact Compass CCU. I’ve got written proof if anyone is interested. I had to hire an attorney to sue them. Megan B is the reason they’re being sued. Her smart attitude got this bank nowhere. Well it will hit the in the pocket book. Like the 11 other creditors I’ve sued.

I went to the atm in Henderson center branch to deposit $120 last night didn't feel safe as homeless are sleeping a few feet from the atm but wanted to put the money in the bank so I wouldn't stupid spend it my cash went in but only recorded $20 I called every number and got no where I got on their live chat but no one was there kept saying we'll be with you shortly BULL tried their 24/7 login wouldn't take my info IM BROKE UNTIL JANUARY 3rd no food money no gas money had to cancel job offer for one night in redding bartending to compass employees see you on the 3rd have my money ready to go your fired compass most unprofessional country backwards bank ever

I am very happy with Compass credit union with the exception of their hours of operation. Their hours are straight out of the 1960's.
The service and people are first rate i have never had anything but a positive experience

I came to compass on a referral for a loan and Rene was nothing short of fantastic to work with. She was prompt with everything, extremely friendly, answered all our questions, and kept us updated every step of the way. I would highly recommend her to others!
