Where do I start with this company?
It's been a long 3 years to say the least to finally pay off my truck. This has by far been my worst financing experience since I have been able to purchase anything of significance.
• First, they lied about financing me up til the day I traveled to Colorado to purchase the truck. Only to find out they can't bank finance Texas purchasers. So they had to put me on a lease purchase. Meaning no credit increase for me
• Next, they put all of the interest at the front of the loan so that I cant avoid the interest and pay off early.
• Next, I put down $15k on a $49,999 truck, borrowed $34,999 and still ended up paying them $62,500 just on principal and interest. Not to leave behind a $4,900 fair market value payment at the end of the loan. Do the math. I paid these crooks twice the amount of what was borrowed.
• Next, they have by far been the most unorganized company i have ever dealt with. Old fashioned website to make your payment that doesn't even give you any details on your loan e.g (made payments, balance, ect.) For all I know, they could have been adding money to my final balance because you can't see any information.
• Lastly, they're collections team in the office are for some strange reason always busy when you call for them. Rosie and Jesus to name a couple. The receptionist will say they are unavailable and would take your information and have one of them call you back. Only for no one to call back until the next time you have to call them. There is no one in this world that busy that they cant call back same day or even next day. Up until the final payment that I sent in the mail. I sent 2 separate forms of payment in the same envelope, only for them to try to say they had only received one. Then the finally they magically found it two days later in that said envelope.
If this review can save anyone from working with this shady "business," I would feel like I have do a great service to future purchasers. I wish I had read the reviews before working with them, but I was unfortunate because a dealership set me up with them. Please do your research and stay away from Cornerstone Financial out of San Rafeal, California. If your promoting one day turnaround to send out a title once final payment is received, do just that.
I have my title in hand now after 44 long months, so I don't have a problem dragging their name through the mud. They deserve 0 stars from every reviewer that reviewed, but google makes it that you can't give true honest opinions in these reviews.
To those unfortunate ones that happen to be working with Cornerstone now, keep all paperwork from the original purchase, find the tracker they had the dealership put in the truck and discard it, and keep your sanity for the length of your loan, you're gonna need it.

People with good credit and verified industry experience and they want 25% down? These people aren’t professional at all and it starts from the Top. Sandra Esparza only sends derogatory credit ratings but not the proof you paid the company off! Jesus was no help and pretended to not be able to see the account, then has has Rosa lie that he had left for the day when called back.

No wonder they have only two stars.This place is a joke. How do you do business as “professionals” and NEVER reach back out to a customer? No answers...nothing. No sorry you didn’t get approved for financing or how much do you have for a down payment. They just stopped calling. Erica was helping us so we thought. Got in touch with her last week Wednesday and she was nice and helpful. Called her that Friday to see what was going on and she said she made a mistake and didn’t send all the paperwork to the underwriter so she would send it again and call me Monday, ok cool. Monday no call, Tuesday no call so I call her on Wednesday. She finally gets on the phone and than all of a sudden her computer froze🤔 she says I’ll call you back in 5 minutes ok?💤💤💤💤 that was Wednesday morning. Here it is now Thursday 1:38pm and STILL no word from Erica. SMH real professional right 😂 so we took our money to another company and got financing. Mind you we had up to 45% to put down in needed but they just never called or answered us back. Don’t waist your time.

I'm not sure what happens behind the scenes with this business. For being a financial company that is suppose to help you, they cause more headaches. They take forever to get back to you, are super disorganized, 'losing e-mails' and not being able to remember conversations they had with you. If you are forced to work with these people, make sure you stick to e-mail and read the fine print! Never working with these people again.

I‘ve been trying for 3 days to get a payoff for a customer I have yet to receive a call back from the person in charge Jesus Castro. They just keep giving me the run around on the phone when it seems pretty simple. So what's such a shame the games they seem to be playing I'll never understand why industries that rely on human interaction never invest in actually making that a pleasant experience. Bad business practice all I can say stay away.

BEWARE! They sent me someone elses financial records, and when I called to let them know they said they didn't care. They also said that "there were no managers" to talk to. I asked what kind of an institution they were and she said she couldn't help me. Huh? I would hate it if my financial institution sent my info to a random stranger.

Called them to see if they would finance a truck for me. SANDRA lies and says they can. She calls back and says they can't finance it due to Maxxforce motor. SHE KNEW THAT BEFORE SHE RAN MY CREDIT "TWICE". SHE OFFERED ME THAT HIGH MILEAGE "JUNK" THEY SELL. THIS IS A FLY BY NITE COMPANY. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
