I called and spoke to someone that answered the phone. They asked what kind of insurance I need, and once I responded, without so much as a "I'm going to transfer you" or a single word I was transferred to Tara Mason, which I found out by getting her voicemail as the call was not picked up. I left a detailed message, reiterated my name and number twice, waited 2 days and never heard back. I then emailed them and applied for a quote through another agent. A couple days later, I was informed that they are declining to offer coverage, and they declined to explain what the exact issue was within my application so that I have the knowledge to work on the problem and reapply. I asked for an explanation and they said they cannot help me, like it's a big secret and since they're not able to make money from me they are not wasting a single more moment speaking with me. I called another insurance company, who patiently went over every detail of my application and immediately told me what details were causing the refusal and how to amend my business details to make the no into a yes. Too bad Costas does not believe in customer service the way other companies do.
