I worked with this firm for about 20 years then when I needed help with my home owner insurance I got zero answers and zero help from the agent responsible for my account so when my auto insurance was up for renewal I call to tell them I was not going to renewal my policy all I got was a simple okay I feel this company doesn't care about customer service at all i never recommend them to anyone.

Not helpful at all. They couldn’t get me insurance from ONE company so they just emailed me back and said another insurance company might write a policy. Obviously, I can easily get quotes on my own - so I’d say reaching out to Danmar to get in touch with an insurance broker is a waste of time; they clearly don’t have any interest in helping potential clients.

ETA: blaming your employee’s poor treatment of potential customers on insurance being difficult to get in California is insane. It took another broker less than 10 minutes to get me a quote for a reputable insurer.

The one star review has nothing to do with California nor insurance companies - it has everything to do with poor service FROM Danmar.

Danmar does not update on policy changes, as in CA, things have changed drastically. Every time I speak to Angie, she has an attitude and advises me to call AAA for insurance. When I am requesting an updated quote, she says she has other things to do. And since the manager Dan is the only one they answer to, I suppose they do not care if the customer is happy. I have to call Mercury myself and do the work for them.

This is the guy you want. Really. Dan and his team have taken care of me and my wife for years and years. What I appreciate is the almost "instant" response to questions and needs. His office staff are just "on it" and so is Dan. It's not often you receive this level of care, from the actual owner. I'd recommend Dan to anyone in the Inland Empire who desires quality service.

Erin is the best to work with! After searching for the right insurance and price and most of all best customer service, she is amazing! Helped answer any questions I had and was always very helpful. I definetely recommend coming to Danmar and seeing her!

Email response is fine, but phone service is terrible. Either your CSR is always out to lunch, they put you on hold and forget to pick up or never call back. Nevertheless, WHEN they finally respond, they take care of business.
Update: Angie called me today to inquire about my low rating. I informed her that I stand by my opinion regarding the fact that when I call my CSR is always on the other line or out to lunch. She explained that Covid made everything more difficult (but frankly my complain was for lack of service before covid) Nevertheless, I appreciate their concern and I hope that my review is taken in a positive light and not as an attack. Covid affected all of us and I hope that their business can improve.

Danmar is the best. We have our house, RV, motorcycle, side by side, 2 vehicles, and I'm sure others (my wife knows better). The rates we pay are very competitive to other carriers if not better. What really stands out for us is the care we receive from our agent Erin Mitchell. At this point I feel the next step is to have her and her family over for the holidays. No joke, every time I loose my ID card and need it ASAP for a rental she's quick to get me what I need. Just yesterday I needed to add a vehicle while I was at the DMV and Erin (like usual) pulled through with faxing the DMV my policy. We have actual family members in the insurance business and still choose Danmar. It's great to know we are in good hands with DANMAR and ERIN. Their professionalism stands out far beyond the reach of other carriers we've used in the past. You can go far with Danmar!
