Having recently switched our insurance to Farmers Mechanic, this was our first claim. The customer service has been extraordinary. The staff has been timely every step of the way from the initial contact Staff has been courteous, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this insurance company and especially my agent! My agent, Hannah Hage, is wonderful to work with and is always quick to answer any calls or questions I have. I’ve researched multiple different companies and quotes, but chose Farmers and Mechanics due to Hannah being so great to work with! She was able to get me a great quote and always gives exceptional service. Compared to the other insurance company I previously had, working with Farmers and Mechanics and Hannah was a far better decision.

It seems as if this company has priorities for customers that have no claims backwards. I have auto and home through them. They raised insurance last year remarkably and this year is astronomical...sending a letter stating the accidents and distracted driving is on the rise, so therefore they have to raise insurance to alleviate, offset the cost. Common sense would say, charge more to those who are guilty of this instead of your customers who do not! The 340.00 increase on a vehicle a year older is absolutely ridiculous. You are gouging the consumer! Shame on you!

I have had Farmer's and Mechanics for many years. They have always been great to work with. Our adjuster, Melanie Hughes was excellent! She was kind, professional, responsive and informative. She was amazing to work with and made my claim process efficient and easy. The whole process couldn't have been easier thanks to her!

They didn't tell me my payment didn't go through until it was too late and would not reinstate my policy and would not tell me why.My agent Hannah Hage I could never get a hold of and took 3 months to send my insurance information to my lender. Don't recommend at all.
