It was tough to find insurance for an old home that had a lot of deferred maintenance, but Richard came through and got me a policy. Also when they wanted to cancel me, he took my call on a weekend and worked with me to avoid cancellation. Highly recommend!

I reached out to Richard Holmes, along with about four other insurance agents/companies, to acquire home insurance in a very challenging area (Lake Tahoe). On top of that, this home had to be listed as a commercial property as a short term rental along with requiring CFP separate Fire Insurance. Richard was by far the most thorough, well communicated, always reachable and offered a bit better price point. It was not a straightforward task and Richard handled it gracefully. He truly checks all of the boxes. And his carriers have not cancelled on us in over four years. Tahoe is an area where carriers often cancel policies on their clients causing much stress. I wish that I could offer Richard 5++++ stars. I highly recommend getting a quote from him as he beat out all of the the big box insurer's as well as the local Tahoe carriers.
