I just came here to decide whether or not I wanted to close or renew a cd account. I decided on closing it as the current rate at Berkshire Bank are higher. When the bank employee asked me to sign for the withdrawal, I noticed that the amount was different than what I had just confirmed on the banking app. I started to log back into my bank app to double check and when the lady saw me doing this she decided to say "oh, no you don't want to do this today or there will be a penalty, it doesn't mature until tomorrow." She really thought she was going to pull a fast one and rip me off, thinking I was too stupid to check. That's why I hate this bank.

I had a loan through Greylock for nearly 3 years that was on autopay since the first month. They randomly turned off my autopay without notice. I ended up getting hit with a late fee and a credit hit. I immediately called and payed off the entire loan in full. I then called to ask about it and they said nothing they can do. I have to deal with the credit hit and the lady on the phone was unless and rude. Never again.

This bank is so bad I wouldn’t be surprised if they closed the whole branch soon, definitely would recommend Berkshire bank, much nicer websites, rates and customer service.

My husband had his car financed through Greylock. We paid the loan off in full in April. It is now past mid-June and we still have not received the title. We got a letter saying the title would follow shortly. No title after 2 weeks. We call them and they say they are processing it, should be in the mail soon. Another week, no title. We call again, this time they have it but forgot to mail it. They will mail it by Friday. Another couple of weeks, no title. We call them again, they never had it this time. Now they are saying "it's complicated" because my husband moved from Mass to VT during the time he owed on the car. They will get back to us. No one gets back to us. We call them again, now they are telling us that we have to go to the DMV to apply for a replacement title. Which, there is a $42.00 fee for, not to mention it's an hour drive away from where we live. They haven't even supplied us with a proper lien release letter to do the paperwork at the DMV.

THIS BANK IS A JOKE. It took them 7 weeks to admit they can't handle a simple title transaction and now it's going to cost us more money and time because they don't know how to do their job as a lender. I have NEVER experienced anything like this with a vehicle loan lien/title release.

I used to think Greylock was a decent credit union. However, now they're going to charge me $3.95 for simply using their online service to pay on my Greylock loan using my checking account from another banking institution. Corporate greed yet again!

I can’t do a negative star. I bought a car and finally payed off my loan in December after 6 years and only today did my lien get released and my title in the mail. Whenever we are late on a payment, we pay a fee, when it’s the other way and they make a mistake there is no repercussions for them. It’s been 9 months and I thought my title got lost in the mail even after a rep said to me it got sent out. Someone didn’t do their job. All I get is a sorry.

Absolutely the worst bank to work with. I only get a run around when I deal them. They hardly know left from right. The best part was when I was laughed at in person by a representative that didn’t have all the knowledge and details of what was going on. Another sad part is I’m from Wisconsin and I know more about MA law than this bank.
