I've stayed here numerous times over the last 4 years. Unfortunately, things seem to be going downhill as far as cleanliness & the rooms are getting run down. My last stay in 2024 I'm 99% positive there were bed bugs. I found it running across my bed at like 1am, so I was too exhausted to go to a new hotel- I got moved to the another floor, checked things & crossed my fingers all was OK. I got refunded for 1 night of my stay.... but not sure I'll be back.

Stayed at this property 2 weekends ago. The 1st room we were assigned had what looked like a bedbug on the sofa as soon as you entered. We didn't even go a step further! The front desk associate was great, but I could tell she was EXTREMELY creeped out. She offered us another room right away. NO hesitation or excuses. The rooms at this property are clearly older and in need of updating compared to other Hilton properties I'm accustomed to staying at, but was doable. We sprayed LysoI too death & wiped down just about every surface with disinfecting wipes! My sister ALWAYS travels with her own linen. Unfortunately...I don't. I started itching under my chin and on my chest a few days ago and wasn't sure what it was. It's been 10 days since our trip and I am HORRIFIED to discover I have ringworms!! At first, it was just small bumps, but now they have a more clustered, circular appearance. I haven't been anywhere else since returning, I work from home and am a homebody to the 100th power! By process of elimination, I have to assume the linen (towels and/or sheets) in that room were either not clean or hadn't been laundered in hot enough water to kill a fungus. I ordered some antifungal cream that I am PRAYING will provide some relief soon! The itching and off-putting look of the circular rash has my anxiety on TEN! The lobby was beautiful, staff was amazingly professional & friendly, the location very ideal, but I do NOT recommend!

Booked for 2/21/2025 got there about 11:00 from eating and visiting. Turned the heat on and burnt smoke smell filled the room triggering an asthma attack. Left immediately got refunded to the 2/22/2025 but not guaranteed for the night of the 2/21 even though we left at 1 a.m. said could offer us another room to abit after 2 a.m. even though room had been cancelled. DO NOT recommend at all!

The team at the Hilton Garden Inn Aiken are incredibly helpful and have gone out of their way to ensure our stay here was great. They are attentive and always very welcoming to all who come through their lobby.

The hotel has been fully booked the entire time we’ve been here which I know has caused some added pressure on the team, but they have truly risen to the occasion and stayed professional and helpful despite the tough situations they’ve been dealing with.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years but was very disappointed with my stay this time. The lobby outside the elevators were full of trash around the trash receptacles, floors by lobby elevator were dirty and floors in elevator dirty. One of the rooms had several bugs in the room and on the bed frame. The soap dispenser was out after the first day. Staff are friendly enough but I feel this hotel needs a deep clean. Sorry !

I know this is a very good hotel because I have stayed there a couple times before . But whoever yall have answering the phone yall need to switch them out quick ❗
I called spoke with a younger sounding African American male . He sounded like he was whispering , kept sounding like he was muting the call and coming back in . He hung up the phone one point it came back to him then he sent me off . I had to contact the hotel again after that and got him again . Again he sounded like he was whispering and caught an attitude when I told him I can't hear him at all . then lastly he claimed he couldn't find my confirmation number when i had just spoke to 3 other people that did in the end I got transfered again where they gladly helped me with no problems ... Yeah answering phone calls may not be for him

Ok, the only redeeming part of our recent stay was the manager we dealt with for our situation. She was friendly, courteous and the only one that took the time to fix issue of our mysterious room cancelation.
We came in late evening/night after a couple hour flight, plus an hour drive, to the desk attendant that was rude, very unfriendly, she told us that our room had been cancelled by someone and they were fully booked. After a lengthy chat she called her manager and was told how to get us into a room. (Apparently not fully booked up after all) And we had problems with this lady every night the rest of the stay, she would call the room about midnight every night to make sure we were checked in!
The room was old and run down and all the furniture was full of dents and drawers didn’t work correctly. The ac unit also had broken parts. The elevators and the hallways were all completely dirty and never cleaned during our stay. They definitely need to update this place, and get rid of the woman that works the night shift. She is nothing but a liability to that location.

This hotel was more than a nightmare to me and my husband ,there were spider webs everywhere, lots of bugs, stains on the curtains, a smelly room, and the employees were very rude. If you complain about the room or the dirtiness, they don't accept it, nor do they change the room or apologize. The room was not booked in my name but in my husband's name, Suboor Rehman, who is also a gold member of Hilton Honors. Our room number was 117, right next to the gym.
