I work with them remodeling some house, they want the house be perfect for the new owner, we made a property at Lagrange Ga, that was extremely bad and now looks so beautiful. They are very honest and replace everything that is wrong before to put it in the market.

We rented from them for the past year. We paid our lease in full. We paid every month, on time, without fail. Lease ends on Sep 30th. We vacated the property early and notified them on Sep 13th. We chose to do this as a courtesy so they could get a tenant in as soon as possible. We paid the full $1,500 rent for the month of September but voluntarily chose to vacate halfway through the month as a courtesy to the Dews. The Dews then chose to notify us that they would not be returning $175 of our deposit for picture hanging holes. This level of pettiness and greed actually surprised us!

I called Rick tonight to inquire about the $175 and was met with attitude. The phone call was not pleasant nor polite!

We chose to relinquish the property to them two weeks early, AFTER having already paid for the entire final month, and what did they do? Showed his true character is what Rick Dews did.

This doesn't even go into the ant infestation...the multiple dead trees that have fallen on the property....the unlevelness of the floor...parts of the floor collapsing!....the awful smell of the refrigerator when we initially moved in....etc.

If you read this, think about your options before choosing to deal with Rick Dews.
