This review is not about this location but about one aspect of IB operations: funds withdrawal. I have been trying to withdraw some funds for the past 3 days. First using the app but was stuck when it asked for a Passcode (nothing to do with your password). Could not figure out what it is. Finally figured it out by calling customer service. Went through the steps which involved flitting between the web portal and the app to get the Passcode. Went through the process of confirming a withdrawal (the transaction was initiated days ago from which a notification is generated asking that you confirm the withdrawal!). A page opens when you click the notification and you have to log In again, generate a passcode (again flitting between your devices). I entered the passcode generated and it came back with the same β€œplease confirm β€œ page again! I was on the phone with CS for 1 hr 21 min and I am still unable to complete the withdrawal!

I have never experienced such a convoluted process in my dealings with brokers or banks.

Was it just my bad luck that the system was not working? 😠😑
