We recently had to decide about filing a claim after an electrical surge from a storm took out our main HVAC on a Friday night. We pay premiums for multiple types of insurance but we're concerned about the effect a claim might have on our future rates. But also, why have insurance if you are afraid to use it when needed?

Was able to talk it through with Jason and he provided the info needed if we wanted to at least consider filing vs not filing a claim with Donegal Ins. Contacted the folks at Donegal on Monday afternoon who were very helpful with educating me on how the process would work as well as addressing my concerns about filing a claim. They then let me know I would be contacted by a claim representative.

I was contacted by Tiffany O. of Donegal on Tuesday and we talked through my concerns and she gave me feedback and explained the process. We already had the system being replaced because of the 90+ Temps in Atlanta but that was not a problem. I sent all the info in with pictures and quotes on that Tuesday. Tiffany told me she had all she needed and should have an answer by the end of the week. On Thursday she called and let me know that a check was being mailed for our expense less our deductible. Fast and easy.

This could not have gone any smoother. Jason even followed up after the fact to make sure we were good. And he loaned us a portable AC unit in the time ours was out. Great insurance starts with a an outstanding agent connecting you with customer focused companies. I highly recommend the Jason Wright Insurance Agency!
