While overall it was quick and easy to set up insurance with them online, even being able to sign up for a supposed trip tracker to lower my cost, the value in this insurance group was lost after the first year. I pay every 6 mos to try and keep the costs lower, but after year 1 they bumped my insurance cost by 200, and then this last time told me they were increasing the cost by a further 500 to 1,800/6mos on one vehicle. Im no expert, but as someone who has a clean driver's license, I probably shouldn't be paying that much. I went with another major provider and now have the same coverage for half the cost. Honestly this provider isn't bad for the first year, but i highly reccomend searching for a new provider once that 6 month due comes up.

If I could give zero stars I would. Just received a call from here (I have never had this insurance company before). This guy was trying to give me unwanted quotes on my "house" that I don't have (I rent), and my car. When I told him I already had a company I was happy with, he turned into a jerk and hung up on me. Just an fyi, if I ever end up looking for other auto insurance, I will make sure I don't use you now.

They change rates on you without letting you know! The rate is higher every 6 months and that’s with no tickets! I would avoid them.

They'll gladly take your monthly premiums, but when you need their assistance, they won't have your back.
Your customer service has been appalling regarding a recent motor vehicle collision I experienced that was the result of another driver. Because the claim went through the at-fault driver's insurance, you've told me I'm on my own and you can't offer any assistance with dealing with that company.
After 26 years of being with Allstate, I'm now switching to Progressive. Bye-bye, Allstate. I'd have given you zero stars if it was an option.

For the first 6 month period, my rates were reasonable. The second 6 month period....not so much. My rates jumped over $60 a month over the previous 6 month period and now I'm paying over $200 a month. Needless to say, I'm looking for a different carrier.
