My experience with Ms Powell’s, State Farm Insurance Company has been pleasant and easy.
The staff is eager to help me handle business on the phone and on the State Farm
Application.
Today I needed help setting auto draft to pay my bill. My call took less than a minute. Now I’ve completed the set it and forget it billing so my TO DO list just got automated.

I had a mechanical issue on 5/12/24 (mother's day?). I had to have my car towed. I called Jill Gilliland (my agent) this morning (5/14/24) and she had my reimbursement check ready by 12 noon! She was great! She kept in touch with me through out the process. I could not believe the fast, courteous, helpful service I received. Thanks Jill and State farm!

"I am having an extremely bad experience with this agent. They increased the insurance premium after I had completed the transaction. I provided all the required information, received a quote, and paid the full amount for my 6-month policy. However, after nearly a month, I received a new bill with an adjusted increased insurance rate and was not satisfied with the agent's explanation. I needed a convincing answer, but they told me to contact State Farm Corp. When I contacted State Farm Corp, they confirmed that I had paid for the full 6 months and didn't need to do anything further. State Farm is not bad, but this agent is terrible."

I had the pleasure of going to the Phenix City branch office this morning because I could not post a payment on the app (for some reason), and I'm glad I did. The woman who took my payment made me feel like she was there just for me. (I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she was awesome.) She not only gave me great service, but even gave me a homemade cookie she had baked herself. Her presence was inspiring. A company is only as good as the people they hire to represent them, and she represents you well. She deserves a mention, and I really wish I could do so by name.
