I had a fantastic experience working with Kolari Initially, I purchased a “Full Spectrum” GoPro7 Lens from them with the intention of converting the camera myself. However, after some research, I learned they could also convert a GoPro 12, so I decided to go that route instead. Returning my original purchase was hassle-free, and I appreciated their smooth, straightforward process.

I had the opportunity to visit their facility in person to drop off my GoPro 12. The location was clean and welcoming, and the staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. They completed the conversion within the promised time frame and kept me updated throughout the process. When I picked up my camera, everything was in perfect condition.

I also purchased their custom enclosure, which allows the use of a 52mm lens, and I was truly impressed by how sleek and professional the camera looked with it. I've just begun testing the setup, and it’s performing well so far. I’m still working on finding the ideal IR source for my specific needs, but overall, I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Kolari for anyone looking for quality products and excellent customer service.

My interest in IR has been evolving for a while, but I was not sufficiently knowledgeable to decide on a route. I found the Kolari Vision website and took advantage of their on line tutorials and traded messages with their support staff. From the get-go they were very responsive to my questions, so I decided to do a full spectrum conversion on my Nikon Z5, which is my backup camera. Going this route, they suggested I also get an OEM hot mirror filter in the behind the lens position on the mirrorless Z5. This way, I have IR capability PLUS a simple filter swap gets me back to the visible back up I needed. Best of both worlds. Once I placed the order, they kept me informed right up to the return delivery process! It came today, beautifully packaged and even with a complimentary Kolari Vision camera strap. I couldn't be happier ... now I have the challenge of producing with my new awesome tool! At 85 years old,, I still love to learn new things in photography! I've been capturing light for over 60 years, and this phase of the digital photography world is really wonderful!

Kolari were a dream company to deal with. I do not live in the USA and they gave me help and advice in dealing with US customs. I was surprised at how quickly my emails were responded with very quickly. I felt like they are passionate about their products and service. Also, that they cared greatly about their customers. You are not just another punter. There was a slight mix up, but that was dealt with very well and quickly by Kolari.

I had an OM-5 converted to a 720nm camera. The camera works very well. The focus is spot on all of my lenses (cover 14mm to 150 mm micro 4/3). The images are sharp and I have not seen any hotspots. I was very pleased as using a 720 nm screw on filter made my 50-150 mm lens unusable at all f stops and focal lengths. Although I have not pushed my camera beyond f14 I have not noticed diffraction to be a problem. I am so glad I dealt with Kolari and I would deal with them in the future.

I wanted to say thank you for giving me the most creative tool I have ever used in my life. I am a traveling Cultural Resource Management (CRM) archaeologist and have used it as my visual companion for well over a three months now and the images never cease to amaze me. Landscapes and narrative portraits I’ve taken with the full spectrum camera has brought a whole new level of storytelling I never knew possible!

Awesome service! I sent in my Z6II for a Full Spectrum modification and had a few questions beforehand. Amber helped me get the answers I needed and helped setup the order. Claire was a huge help as well with getting a minor issue resolved for me promptly. Overall a great experience and the filters that they have available are fantastic. I am really enjoying the ability to shoot IR with one set, H Alpha with another, and return the camera back to stock if needed with another.

The customer service with Kolari is above and beyond good! I didn’t realize I needed an empty drop in filter to go with my EF-RF adaptor so I ordered it afterwards and got a hold of Kolari and asked them to combine the two orders and reimburse me for one of the shipping charges, which they readily did! I was very impressed with how responsive and flexible they were. I have used their products when a friend lent me his. And the results were top notch and helped take my Astro shots to the next level!
