The best decision I made when looking into filing for VA LTA funds for my mother was to hire Sandy Messer. She and her team have been so helpful and easy to work with. I had friends who had tried to work with the VA on their own and after hearing their horror stories I knew I would need assistance. Sandy's group outlined the steps and paperwork needed and were there every step of the way when I had questions. They took care of submitting the paperwork and assured me mom would qualify based on their vetting process. I can't emphasis enough how valuable their services are. This was by the best thing I ever did to help my Vietnam vet father, to have Sandy and her team on board, helping with the mountain of paperwork the VA gives to qualify dad for aid, well...it was priceless!
