I've been using MSB, the Ayer branch specifically, since they were opened as MSB and for years prior. The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and remembers their customers. The personal feel is awesome in a world where we feel so automated.
Today I had some technical issues due to an unauthorized, failed attempt to access my account. All was going smoothly until I hit a snag (turns out I accidentally blocked their messaging number) and Michelle and Shawn were on point helping me solve the issue. My password is changed, new ATM card and all is safe and secure. Thank you MSB and staff for today, as well as years of fantastic service.
I can't recommend Main Street Bank enough. Awesome people all around.

Main Street Bank is truly a community bank. When approached to support the Shirley Pumpkin Fest, they were absolutely happy to be the main sponsor. This is a festival for all in the community with the purpose to bring family and friends together to have fun and celebrate the season. I am happy that Main Street Bank is part of this great community! It has been a pleasure to work with them!

The Main Street Bank ATM on Main Street in Ayer is jamming while dispensing larger withdrawals because it is only loaded with $20s.

The cash dispenser jammed while I was attempting to remove the ridiculous number of bills it chose for my withdrawal. Before I could pull them all out the machine closed the slot.

I was shorted $80 in total. Bank employees stated that there was nothing they could do to compensate me and I had to take it up with the bank that issued my debt card.

They refused to watch the security video showing me trying to get the stuck bills out and claimed that they couldn't find the bills in the machine. I called the Ayer PD and they filed a report.

It's not a lot of money to me, but that could have been someone's grocery money for the whole week. The bank employees just claim that they are powerless to help.

Really unimpressive and I would have expected more from a 'local' bank.

I went in last week to try to get some items for my grandkid’s collections. I’d been to so many banks and found nothing. I went to a teller and told her what I was looking for. Immediately the tellers got to digging out what I wanted, and each sold it to me! No fuss, no muss! The tellers were polite, professional, and cheerful!
