Mark Pritchard State Farm: A Complete Lack of Accountability & Customer Service

My experience with Mark Pritchard’s State Farm office has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Their lack of communication and failure to properly manage my policy has caused unnecessary stress, financial burden, and even left my son stranded on Interstate 75 due to their negligence.

When I added a new car to my policy, I was quoted one rate, only for it to later increase with no clear explanation. On top of that, Marcia failed to update my defensive driving course, which directly affected my rate. They repeatedly claimed they never received the certificate, but when I checked my records, I found the email where it had been sent directly to Marcia’s email address—meaning the mistake was entirely on their end. This was just the beginning of a series of careless errors.

My payment was not properly posted, which ultimately led to my insurance being canceled—something I only discovered because I took the initiative to follow up. Because of their failure to communicate, my son was left stranded on I-75, and when I attempted to get a tow, I was told there was no active insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for the tow, and while they eventually reimbursed me, it took weeks—an issue that never should have happened in the first place.

In an attempt to rectify the situation, Jennifer assured me she would call me back, but after a week of waiting, I had to reach out again. She then told me she thought Mark was supposed to call me—but he never did. Now, I’m being told that my insurance is over $700, despite Mark himself telling me on December 18 that it would only be $500+. The constant miscommunication and lack of accountability make it feel like I was rushed just to get my money, with no regard for accuracy or proper service.

Looking back, I should have known better. Two years ago, Mark’s office claimed they could insure my daughter’s 2019 Kia, only to drop her coverage after a month or two, saying they couldn’t insure it anymore. This kind of backtracking and incompetence seems to be a pattern.

State Farm should be ashamed to have this office representing their name. If you value honesty, reliability, and proper customer service, avoid Mark Pritchard State Farm at all costs.

Took on my business confident he met all the requirements, then went on paternity leave for a month while State Farm sent me vague notices of non-compliance with their requirements. He apologized and was unaware of a State Farm change in requirements but did not help me really try to meet the requirement. Very unprofessional. Might be good for homes but terrible for apartments.

As a consumer we reserve the right to treated with respect when we are unclear of issues regarding our policies. Understanding confusion can be present especially being a senior citizen, a simple professional approach to an explanation would be in order. Following a very disheartening experience with a staff member of Mark Pritchard I will take my business elsewhere.

I don't usually do two reviews, but today I just had to do another one . Today I got a card from Mark Pritchard's office. Wishing me a get well soon card. Sign by him . No other companies do that these day. All the others companies wants your money and don't really care about your health. Thank you so much and God Bless ya'll for the outstanding job ya'll do . Mark‘s team was wonderful and very responsive until I started to have issues with transferring my insurance from one state to Georgia. Marsha was the one who handled my case and submitted the paperwork off to my old state and made me contact their DMV anytime there was a question or something needed to be done. She only followed up with me until two days before my policy expired, but had no point in our interaction said that the paperwork was urgent due to it being cancelable for my policy. When my husband called to ask about what was happening to our insurance, she hung up on him but not without blaming me for everything that went wrong. I know I have some fault, but that sort of behavior is extremely unprofessional.
