Referred here by the VA, mental health treatment. First psychiatrist took no time to hear me out and listen to what my symptoms are/were. My first appointment they ordered labs, I told them I'm not doing labs if the VA isn't going to cover it. They told me the VA would and sent me a $400 bill that the VA has no idea about , somehow lost the electronic photocopy of my VA medical card, and apparently they don't know how to read a calendar. Scheduled me one day, canceled when I got there due to "server issues" instead of having me wait until at least the end of my appointment time to see if the servers would come back online, rescheduled me again the next week showed up, checked in, sat for 20 minutes without realizing for them to tell me my appointment wasn't for another two weeks when I had a written reminder card by the admin desk and the reminder in my phone. The only redeeming quality has been my current psychiatrist, Laura. She listens to what I have to say and works with me on what the best course of action and med management would be. Go elsewhere for mental health! The whole triple reschedule happened after I pushed an appointment up because I was needing help. The lack of care of organization put me in hot water with work because of performance which could have been avoided if they took the time to care and actually be organized.

My name is Gregory Kimball.
I have had 9 providers in the past 3 years.
Seven have left the state and I have filed complaints with the Medical Licensing Board concerning the other two.
I have been treated at Mat-Su Services for Anxiety and panic attacks.
My most current provider there has left the state.
I just had an unfortunate encounter with Deborah Bushnell. ANP employed by Mat-su Services.
She was aware of my situation, I had explained in detail to Kalen MA I assume.Kalen was very very nice and very professional.
Very capable.
However, Ms. Bushnell was a different story altogether.
While being aware of my past treatment history she thought it would be a great idea idea to accuse me of seeking Xanax and Ambien.
This is not true.
I have been proscribed both in the past but was not seeking them out.
Mr. Bushnell went on to tell me that any problems that I may be having were MY fault and most certainly not her's or the Medical professions.
Oh, no.
AND, She has two or so years of training to back that up.
When my symptoms manifested she lost her mind.
She couldn't stand being called out when asked 'Why'
I aske her to explain her diagonsis.
She became indignant, threw her pen down and declared the visit OVER.
I LEFT NO DOUBT AS TO MY FEELINGS ON THE SITUATION.
I AM NOT PLAYING WITH THESE PEOPLE ANY LONGER.
I am sick and tired of being treated badly by pretenders like Ms. Bushnell.
NO MORE!
I went to Mat-Su Health Services for help.
What Irecieved was absolutly hideous.
Ms. Bushnell is incompatant, unprofessional, uncaring, and more interested in reading from a script than actually assisting those whe need it most..
She wears a HUGE CHIP on her shoulder.

I have filed a complaint with the Licensing Board although I don't really expect anything come of it.
But, its the only recourse I have.

In closing, if MUST go to Mat-Su Health Services,

Avoid all contact with this woman.

She's there for herself, not YOU!.

Have had nothing but bad experiences with Mat-Su Health Services. From admin staff to medical providers, they are unprofessional, and will let you fall through the cracks. This has been the case for both health care and mental health services. I highly advice you to seek services elsewhere, as you will not get quality service here.

I was referred here to help manage my medication and mental health for military service connected ptsd and other mental health issues. I was assigned a nurse practitioner who was rude, condescending, accusatory, and would not even talk to me unless I took a drug test during my initial appointment, which I felt was absurd. She didn't like the medications that took me years of trial and error to find that worked well for me, so she took me off of everything and gave me a non stimulant adhd med.

I am worse off now with depression and ptsd than before I went in to get help that I never received. When the bill came, it was over $800 for meeting with the NP for about 15 minutes. No follow-up care and I am now out of all meds. I am switching to the VA clinic for actual medical care. This place is not good for mental health conditions at all.

In January my husband was diagnosed with multiple chronic comorbid syndrome and dementia. Is PCP never told him before she quit and his new PCP he's never even talked to. They have totally neglected his health and is declined does anybody know a good malpractice attorney that would handle a suit against them? Somebody needs to address this issue with the public!

The mental health side is A+ I trust Dr. Jones to help me with my issues.
I have many, and I make poor decisions regarding them.
She’s a very good listener and has helped me a lot.
The medical side I rate with only two stars.
The two is for the office staff.
They coded my annual appointment Wong.
I’ve talked to them twice about it and I’m still being billed .
One of the Dr’s. Interrogated me about my thyroid medication and made my whole appointment about who prescribed it, when etc…
I went in due to back pain but happened to ask for a refill of thyroid.
My back wasn’t even addressed.
I switched Dr’s and the next one couldn’t get coding and billing correct.
I do want to thank Dr Cindy Jones she’s a great therapist

Dr. Hannah Greway is great and very thorough. I am thankful for her kindness and understanding. Her medical assistant is a bit unprofessional but he is friendly and does a good job overall. The front desk staff are welcoming and nice and so far I’m satisfied with my care.
