This branch is the best! They take such good care of their people, even the little guys like me 🙂 Gwendolyn has been very kind and helpful to me through the many difficulties I have faced as a new business owner. Louis, the store manager is very present, responsive and he always has the answers we need 🙂

I also just started payroll with their partner company Paychex, and so far it has been GREAT with them as well. Again, as a new business owner, they have treated me with respect and class as well as provided me with an excellent service with patience and enthusiasm.

It means a lot to me, to be treated well. I had learned not to trust banks, but mechanics is different. I guess there may have been some biases too, my dad worked at Midstate for years when I was growing up (Midstate is Pre-Mechanics Bank).

Anyway, TWO THUMBS UP for this branch of Mechanics Bank. ❤️ The other branches are fine too, but this branch is the best.

Megan has never helped me what so ever , I’ve came here and have tried cashing checks from a well known company in town and she refuses to cash my checks . The first time was fine with me and now it’s the 2nd time I’ve tried and I am in need of the money while I’m in town . I feel completely discriminated against because the color of my skin . I will be closing my account with them ASAP . Thanks Megan . So helpful.

Goleta branch is just short of a nightmare simple transaction will take about 20 to 25 minutes. There are only two employees running the bank.

Awful! Requested to withdraw $5000 in cash and the most they could do is $2500 because they didn't have enough. In n Out has that cash on hand but a national bank doesn't? Are you kidding me?! It's 2018, things move a mile a minute in today's economy. Don't bank here. Weird name awful service.
