My experience purchasing a home from this realtor/seller was very challenging. The property had several issues identified during the inspection, including major plumbing concerns after the remodeling. I agreed to proceed under an inspection contingency that all major specific repairs would be completed.

During negotiations, I was offered a $500 credit for these major plumbing items (fixing leaks under sink & kitchen & replacing the water heater and water leak) which I felt was insufficient. Plumbing is very expensive. I refused, but then the seller did not want to give back my earnest money deposit even after both parties signed the inspection contingency for repairs. After much discussion, I reluctantly proceeded after assurances that the repairs would be done before closing.

However, the final inspection revealed the same water leaks and/or poorly done plumbing that required a plumber to come out the day of closing to fix the continuing leaks. I had to inherent the leaks or loose my large money deposit. To this day I am still fixing the water leaks. As a first-time homebuyer, this was a terrible experience. I recommend others carefully document agreements.

Mike is amazing! We were trying to make a decision on relocating to VA. We planned a 4 day trip to check out the area and look at homes.

When we landed, I messaged Mike about a house we wanted to see. He responded immediately and we saw the house that afternoon. From that moment on he spent the entire day with us for the 4 days we had to make our decision.

We found we loved the area and he helped us find our perfect home. We made an offer on the house and closed on it 3 weeks later.

There is no way this would have happened without him. He made introductions to a mortgage company who was amazing and helped expedite our home purchase.

Mike became more than our realtor during our time together. He became a friend. Once the offer was accepted, Mike didn't disappear. He stuck with us through the entire encounter and has helped us even after the sale closed.

Less than 4 weeks after meeting Mike, we moved into our new home!

If you need a realtor who really cares about his client's, don't use anyone else!!!
