Fanny Wang helped me , and she is clueless I don’t know how anybody got a job at this bank they don’t know standard banking policies, or the way things work it seems. I have a check written to my business. Since this is a small bank every time I deposit this check, I’m put on a 7 to 10 day hold. I wanted to see if I could cash the check and or get a cashiers check issued to me so that I can have guaranteed funds, and would need to deal with any holds. I had all the paperwork from the IRS and the county clerk verifying my business with my name, and my business name with my two forms of ID and the check. At first i wanted to know if they would cash the check. They said they wouldn’t do it because for whatever reason that seemed honestly shady, & wasn’t good enough of an excuse to me. So I asked if they could convert this check to a cashiers check they said sure it would be a $50 fee then they come back to me and saying that they need a deposit endorsement from my bank !!?! What difference does it make what bank I have if I can then cash this anywhere since it’s a cashiers check and anywhere that I would cash it, would call New Omni Bank, to verify the funds. If they wouldn’t take the cashiers check at face value. Horrible banking knowledge & customer service !!!! Since these are things I am sure they have never had to deal with in their lives. They don’t know how things work they make stupid excuses, and repeat themselves like a broken record horrible. No help and don’t know how they refused to at least cash it it’s a check for under $3000. Don’t waste your time with them. PS that I asked if I cash the check and open up a account with them they said the minimum deposit is $10,000 for a business account.. !!!! Unbelievable worst bank ever
