This is a good basic standard ER. It's a large hospital and many patients. But the level of care was is very good. Doctors and technicians and support staff are very caring. It's a long wait say at 8 or 9 pm. Later not crowded. Vacaville North Bay is smaller probably faster. No complaints by me.

CARDIOLOGY - Dr. Mancherje, I don't know if I'm one of your first patients, dating back to the late 80s, but as you have learned over the years, I vett all of my doctors and medical teams very closely. We've learned a lot about how other over the years; and it has been my distinct pleasure to call you more than an exceptional physician, but a friend.
So, on one of your last days at Northbay, I want to take a moment to not only thank you for the wonderful care, but to wish you the very best, wherever that road may lead. And, as you look back on your years of practice, please remember that it was a life well led!

As the 'old' song line says, "Thanks for the memories".

What a horrible place to be.

If you can figure out a way to use any other place, you're better off. Most times, this ER is overcrowded, and wait times are most likely excessive. Had a deadly health issue. should have been immediately given a hospital bed. instead, I remained in the waiting room discharged with no good resolve after seven hours.
I was able to figure out my health issue and kept things at bay until I received some real help.

Came in cause could not eat for 2 weeks or drink for 3 days. Was admitted and then questioned the whole time instead of being medically treated. Was told I had an eating disorder when I have a documented medical condition that can cause this. Sent home untreated and still not able to eat and drink. Also was not given fluids the last 2-3 days before going home. Had to go to another ER for fluids. I should mention the hospitalist's name but God saw.

Just had my beautiful baby girl here 12/15/24
I wanted to show appreciation to the wonderful nurses I had during my labor & delivery stay who truly were a blessing to me. Jerika, Annette, & Ashley who helped deliver my baby to this world with lots of love & motivation! Very caring women & I'm very thankful to have had them by my side that night. Also amazing lactationist Abbie! She was so informative & I was able to bf & gain so much confidence! I'm excited for this journey with a healthy & thriving baby! Thanks again ladies aka my super women.

I would go elsewhere if your insurance allows. I definitely wouldn’t take my elderly family or friends there.

I went into NorthBay for the first time in early January, I had a small bowel obstruction and due to many surgeries I have had many SBO and normally I am in and out within two days. Well due to their overall negligence I have been hospitalized for over a month with issues that started with my sbo, then they blew an IV in my wrist that gave me a staph infection, then the staph infection wasn’t treated properly and it lead to a blood infection and then that lead to me getting CDF. During the month I have been in the hospital I have had to spend several days in the ICU as well. The doctors most seem as if you are an inconvenience to them and they also do not pay attention to patient records at all. Several times I would have to remind them of issues or even remind them what I was there for or what they were even treating me with. I had to leave the hospital and seek help elsewhere.

This hospital has the most inconsistent staff ever. Everyone tells you something different. They have one doctor that is good but gone on weekends. The weekend crew here is just short of a joke. Everything going good in the week then the weekend comes and all nurses are gone. Just some left that have no idea how to do stuff. If you're gonna get sick or hurt don't come here on a weekend.

Also they don't give af about immediate family or any one close to their patients. This is %100 a business for them. If it doesn't make money it doesn't make sense.

TLDR: your family member will die here.

Add on: the hospital doesn't even have the tools they need they will constantly tell you we're looking for this or that or they are short on this or that. But in real they just don't have it or can't get it. We've found used syringe tips in our families hospital bed. All the vents here are caked with dirt and filth. The nurses don't even monitor their patients physically unless your in ICU. Everywhere else you might as well be a stray cat that's sick. Avoid this healthcare facility.

Good service and well taken care of.
However before discharge RN asked me how I got to the ER? That I felt was very judge mental n a poor call. People live alone and circumstances did not allow me to take help. I am sure she deemed that if I could drive to ER then I am not an ER patient.
