Made a quick pit stop at Page airport in my light sport RV-12. After landing, ramp guy on a golf cart asked if I needed parking. I followed him, he chocked the aircraft, gave me a ride to the terminal, showed me where things were, and gave me instructions for leaving. No charge. Amazing service.

My daughter, son-in-law and their 3-month old baby girl showed up a little tardy today for the 30 minute prior to departure check in time. They had an unexpected stop along the way to care for the baby on their nearly two hour drive. The female rep at the counter refused to check in my son-in-law for his flight, the plane had not even started the boarding process. The dozen or so other passengers witnessed this refusal, as well as the TSA agents, they were sympathetic and willing to help. Unfortunately, one sour gal in authority can trump others willingness to help. This agent is what is wrong with this world, an example of people who CAN help but choose “rules” over real humans. Highly disappointed in this individual and hope the small and quaint Page airport will respond to this sour individual with some hospitality and tourism training. Such a bummer for their airport to have an employee like this! We have always had a pleasant experience in Page otherwise, not sure we will go that route again.
