I’ve been working with Jen as my financial advisor since she began her practice in 2009, and I recommend her highly. During the past 7+ years, I’ve watched her grow as an advisor and expand her business into an excellent resource for people with a variety of incomes and goals.

Jen’s greatest strength as an advisor is her ability to really listen and develop a personalized, comprehensive plan that will work for each unique client. My income, needs, and goals are certainly different now (age 40, married, baby #1 on the way) than they were when we first began working together (early 30s, single, paying off student loans and other debt). Over the years, Jen has worked with me to make sure my investments evolve along with my changing life. Jen also has helped me stay on track with short-term savings goals as well as long-term investments and retirement. Her specific recommendations for fund investments also have been great. Although she doesn’t have a crystal ball, she has worked with me and my husband to develop a well-rounded plan that’s geared towards our own risk tolerance. Jen explains her suggestions clearly and rationally, and she helps manage expectations, especially during times when things are up-and-down in the market. She’s helped me pick investment options through my work retirement plan as well as the accounts that my husband and I have with her at Pathway. She also reviewed our various insurance policies (auto, life, long-term disability, etc.) to make sure we weren’t over- or under-insured and made some suggestions about things to change.

In addition to being a knowledgeable financial advisor, Jen is personable and easy to work with. She’s a great person who gives back to her community. She has a passion for the arts and helps supports local theater and choral groups. It’s great to work with someone who invests in the public good as well as the stock market.
