Deny deny deny. Spinal fusion isn’t something people opt to do for fun. Dealing with these “people” for over 4 months trying to prove that the pain level is high enough to justify surgery is ridiculous and incredibly stressful in an already stressful situation. As far as I can tell they saw we had already met our very high annual deductible and were trying to put us off until it reset in the new year so that we’d have to pay even more. I can’t think of another reason. This is why people go bankrupt.

They will leave you with a surprise bill for the most basic services and then run you in circles on the phone. I don't even understand what the point of paying for this insurance is. Avoid at all costs.

My job I loved switched to your insurance. It is the worst I have ever had. I had to leave the job I love because of this. I hate your company. It just wants money and doesn't care at all about the humans they represent. Some 80 yr old man in the Midwest denied my surgery to fix my prolapse. What would he know he doesn't have a vagina! My doctor had to do a whole new exam just to prove it was necessary. My husband had surgery yesterday and they won't cover his post op meds. I am livid. You are the worst!!!!

They are fighting covering pain meds for a knee surgery. Giving my doctor the run around. Had surgery this morning and it's now mid afternoon and they are still dragging their heels. They charge a lot for coverage but barely cover anything and fight to pay everything. Worst insurance I have ever had in my entire life. No one at my school is happy with it. Pure garbage

Called back in December to stop coverage at the end of 2023, as I wouldn’t be continuing using them for 2024 through Healthcare Marketplace. They forwarded me to Healthcare Marketplace to process the cancellation and stayed on the phone for the remainder. Received a letter in the mail from BCBS, confirming the cancellation. However, when I attempted to log into my account afterNew Year’s, they said my coverage was still active. CS rep became extremely unprofessional and started swearing before hanging up when I said that I wouldn’t pay a dime of the several thousand dollars of monthly fees for January and February, since I’d already dealt with them and Healthcare Marketplace to cancel and received confirmation.

I haven't received my cards for over a month and needed to speak to someone to get the cards. I have been on hold for over an hour. This is not appropriate especially for an organization that is supposed to help customers be able to afford healthcare. I will be switching providers if I don't receive assistance today. The social Media Marketer is more responsive than the actual call line.

By far the worst insurance I've had through an employer. They are 4 hours behind where I'm located, it takes a few months to update deductibles within your insurance and customer service is below average at best. One month I've reached my deductible then the following month I'm nowhere near it. If l could give zero STARS I WOULD

I didn’t have any issues till I got married then all of a sudden all my claims are being denied due to “having another coverage since 2014” when I only got married 2022. I kept calling to correct them that’s not possible I was a MINOR. I have been sent to collection due to negligence. They just won’t listen maybe they have something against LGBTQ+
