I rarely do reviews online but Sensible Money is a "cut above" what others do so I wanted to share. They should get more than 5 stars!
I first interacted with Dana and then Amy Shepard. They have a well-defined but flexible process that starts at the right place (How do you want to live) and finishes with results that are usable (How are you specifically going to pay for your life in a reliable fashion) Questions are answered directly with explanations clear and useful, including underpinning theory.

Amy did an exceptional job of explaining things to us. Previously I had a difficult time engaging my spouse in discussing the confounding world of retirement planning. Amy's patience and simple and clear explanations transformed our planning to a higher level of teamwork. This was a breakthrough after years and years of trying to get this result. Amy's approach really took a lot of fear away for my wife!

Amy was able to be clear and simple because of her deep understanding of the edges of the many retirement issues that need to be considered.

The cost of the work to be able to get clear on our plan was well worth it to us. Much deeper than what is generally provided!

Additionally, this thoughtful and unhurried process helped us get more organized as a couple. We now feel free to start planning how we will maximize what we want to do as we transition. This includes expanding our social networks, doing purposeful activities (maybe some work but less), and we have a list to travel where we always wanted to go, but didn't have time. We also are re-learning how to enjoy and savor the abundance that is available in the day to day.

We still have a little time to go until we make the transition fully in our life, but working with Sensible Money has provided a hard to describe freedom to "start again" thinking about fun as a priority. I feel a similar "freedom to choose", that I had in college.
