I want to begin by stating that I haven't completed any business transactions with Jay Goldberg or anyone else at Spire. Even so, I am taking the time to write a serious and genuine review based on a series of business negotiations we undertook in anticipation of my possibly renting an apartment from Spire. I can attest -- and I'm not an old friend or a beloved uncle -- that I truly felt I could take this man at his word. He picked up the phone promptly every time I called. He negotiated with a clear appreciation of my perspective. I felt assured that I could trust him. From another perspective, I simply felt a deep admiration for the work he undertook -- and achieved -- in creating both a gorgeous-down-to-the-tiniest-detail building and a tenant community that would foster security and genuine loyalty to the company. I feel comfortable and confident in encouraging others to work collaboratively with Mr. Goldberg in any realm where finance and credibility are at stake.
