Elias was awesome. He saved us from waiting forever for the blue shuttle and gave us our own private tour. Checked out some local spots and stoped for pics. Friendly, reliable and very reasonably priced. I would whole heartedly recommend him for anybody visiting Sitka.

Highly recommend using Tidal Taxi! We loved the knowledge our driver shared with us about the beautiful town of Sitka. He was helpful, patient with our many request, and very reasonably priced. My only advice is if you are coming in on a cruise ship, book early! We got extremely lucky to have Tidal Taxi as our families personal tour guide.

Taxis can be difficult to get in Sitka and I called the numbers to taxi companies that have been around for many years only to go directly to voicemail and full mailboxes. So I googled “taxis in Sitka” and found Tidal Taxi. She answered the phone right away and picked me up in less than 5min! I now have a reliable taxi option in Sitka when I need to go to the airport and stuff like that. Thanks so much!

Unreasonable prices. For a 13 min ride from Sitka hotel to fortress of the bears is 50$ (45 + 5 tip) for 3 people. I recommend Baranof taxi if you want to not waste your money.
