Helpful and friendly staff member behind the desk. She explained we could park in the parking lot out front, so we could bike ride trails. She also showed me on the map where to go. The office area had state and COE brochures available, as well as local plant & wildlife information.

3-7-22. Visitor center still closed with a stupid Covid excuse sign on the door. Saw employees without masks coming and going in another door while we were there. Apparently the building is safe enough for them. Federal dollars hard at work doing nothing.
