My dad served in the US Army for over 40 years, so of course he chose USAA for his home insurance. He died last year, and after a year of paying as the rep of his estate I finally got the deeds to his properties. When paying for last months insurance I was asked if there were any damages to the home and was ADVISED PER USAA to hold off on taking over his policy so I could file a claim under my dad’s name instead of my own as it wouldn’t look so good on a new insurance policy. While calling to pay today I was told I had been dropped. I can’t remember my dad filing even ONE claim, and they drop him. Everything is great while you’re paying over and over, but as soon as they feel like they’re going to have to actually be an actual insurance co they drop you. So much for being a veteran, a Purple Heart vet at that. USAA, do better

Jeremy Butler gave me amazing customer service. I had left the lien holder off the policy in error Sent him a text and he updated the info promptly and correctly with no problems. He was friendly and was made sure I got the best rates He also explained my rates and when they will decrease He was very informative to things I didn’t know!
