I set up a phone consultation and this is a screening as they put it "to see IF we are a good fit"
The FIRST question out of her mouth was "what is your net worth". Some follow up questions were about the value of my HOME and to bring in all investment portfolios FOR THEIR REVIEW!!
The Gaul to ask such personal questions about what my home value is and my net worth is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. They want their tentacles into everything when I had some cash I was interested in POSSIBLY investing if I LIKED what they had to offer.
It is ALL or NOTHING with them and I refused to answer their prying questions.
My portfolio is largely managed by me, successfully for many decades and I have never experienced such arrogance with any of the firms I used in years past.
I never had a chance to relate to the women what MY GOALS and INTEREST were as she stated we were not a good fit when I did not answer the PERSONAL questions. What an under statement ( NOT A GOOD FIT).
Be careful with this company. I find that MY goals are NOT IN THEIR INTEREST.
I broke the golden rule that one must stay away from companies that constantly blast the airways with advertising and mail out invitations, weekly, for FREE dinners. Successful companies do not NEED TO DO THE BEGGING.

We are approaching retirement and wanted to find a financial advisor in our home town after moving here a few years ago. I went to several sales pitch/dinner events. Victory Wealth was the one that talked about what we wanted as far as things and activities as we retire.
