Called up Williford Insurance on recommendation of my neighbor who said they had helped her navigate the pros and cons of Medicare insurance when she retired and was eligible. I met with a Mr Michael Parsons who clearly was well versed in the many aspects of Medicare. He was clear in his explanations and generous with the time he took to help me sort it all out. I felt he was not only amazingly competent but also that he was trying to help me figure out what would be best for my situation and was not pushy toward a particular package or insurance product. I am a risk adverse sort of person and well aware that health care costs are the main sad reason for financial problems for retired people. I am very glad I went to Williford for the benefit of having an expert in the field. I believe he had my best interest at heart and that I got the type of Medicare Insurance appropriate to my health and living situation.

Also, I had a number of follow up questions that we communicated by email over and Mr Parsons was consistently prompt in his responses. I never felt like I was bothering him or taking up too much of his time.

I was trying to research and talk to people but there is just so much information available it made my head whirl.
